Digital Marketing Strategist

Quebec, Montreal or Remote
As a digital marketing strategist, you like to dive into the universe of each client to learn about their specific challenges.  You know how to identify and address business issues. Using your creativity and analytical skills, you design effective marketing strategies across a diversity of channels. In short, you make our clients thrive in the digital age. Drawing on your digital knowledge and experience, you design and recommend solutions that will help them achieve their goals.
In more concrete terms, you support your colleagues in the strategy team and the product managers in developing smart and creative marketing strategies, you meet with clients, you contribute to their digital action plans, you keep an eye on campaign performance, constantly optimizing it, and provide post-campaign reports with actionable insights.
  • Contribute to the diagnosis of clients' strategic needs and to crafting a marketing communications strategy.
  • Provide marketing expertise to various clients and colleagues.
  • Elaborate strategic recommendations to achieve specific objectives.
  • Develop various marketing campaigns based on client needs.
  • Contribute to promoting our service offering by working with colleagues to develop and coordinate marketing strategies.
  • Create dashboards or performance reports to measure and communicate the performance of various initiatives. 
  • Participate in the team’s strategic and creative thinking. 
  • Conceptualize and execute successful marketing or communication strategies.
  • Support product managers in developing strategies to ensure products perform optimally.
  • Interact with customers.
  • Unsatiable appetite for learning and boundless enthusiasm for the digital and marketing world.
  • Agency or digital marketing experience.
  • Wanting to be in the thick of things and to experience all the facets of a marketing role.
  • Knowledge of the different digital marketing channels (media placement, acquisition strategies, SEO, SEM, click-through optimization, eCommerce, etc.); while you are not expected to master all, you should know the basics. 
  • Proactivity and initiative; an ability to develop a plan and following it through.
  • Discipline, creativity, drive, and strong analytical skills.
  • Trustworthiness.
  • Discretion, being aware that confidentiality is important.
  • Availability to travel in and out of Quebec: Mirego works with large clients that are national in scope; meeting with them may involve catching a train or a plane.
  • French and English fluency, written and spoken.
